Samsung Galaxy Mega 2 launches in India for Rs 20,090

Samsung Galaxy Mega 2 has been launched in India for Rs 20,090. The phablet is now available in Samsung’s online store. The phone with the 6-inch display along with 720 x 1280 pixels resolution is available in both black and white variants.

The Indians version of the phone is slightly different from the international one. However, it is still supported with 1.2 GHz quad-core processor and 2,800 mAh battery. It has an amazing memory of 1.5 GB RAM and 16 GB internal storage (with microSD support) with an expanded memory upto 64GB via microSD card. It also lets you click 8 MP rear shooter (with 5 MP front-facing camera)

It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 401 system on chip. The Mega 2  also supports dual SIM configuration. Currently it runs on Android 4.4 KitKat and will shortly receive Android 5.0 Lollipop update. Mega 2 has been enriched the connectivity features like Wi-fi, NFC, GPS with GLONASS and Bluetooth 4.0. The Samsung Galaxy Mega 2 is listed in Cosmic Black and Blizzard White colors.

This phone also comes with Samsung’s proprietary software such as Story album, ultra-power saving mode, multi-window mode and so on. The Samsung Galaxy Mega which had launched last year was quite popular.
