Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrinini confirmed that Frank Lampard would be playing for Manchester City for the next six months after coming on loan from his new club New York City FC, the sister club of the Citizens.

It would be a good idea to revisit the torment that he thrust on the Sky Blues as part of the Blues at Stamford Bridge. Lampard, or Super Frank, as his legion of fans call him, scored six goals against the other team from Manchester. Two of them were the winning goals in two matches while one was part of a 5-0 thrashing.
So these are his goals:
1. Chelsea 5-0 Manchester City (March 22, 2003)
It was still three months for Roman Abrahmovich to own Chelsea. Claudio Ranieri was still the manager of the senior team and Jose Mourinho had yet to win his surprise UEFA Champions League with FC Porto. This match was rather remembered for Gianfranco Zola’s magic, even though he did not score a goal. Frank Lampard scored one in the 69th minute to make it 4-0 then. The final score was a resounding 5-0 triumph.

2. Chelsea 1-0 Manchester City (March 14, 2007)
Frank Lampard scored the lone goal from the penalty spot in the 28th minute after Micah Richards fouled Salomon Kalou in the penalty box. Chelsea, thus closed the gap on Manchester United to six points while making the task more difficult for relegation threatened Manchester City.

This is the picture of him celebrating with Drogba, with Ballack also in the picture.
3. Manchester City 1-3 Chelsea (September 13, 2008)
Frank Lampard scored the second goal after Manchester City went ahead in the 13th minute only for Ricardo Carvalho to equalize three minutes later and Lampard to put the Luis Felipe Scholari-managed Chelsea ahead in the 53rd minute. Nicolas Anelka scored the third to mark a great victory for Chelsea. The match marked the Manchester City debut for Robinho who had been transferred on dealine day from Real Madrid when the Abu Dhabi United Group took over the club in the previous month.
4 and 5. Chelsea 2-4 Manchester City (February 27, 2010)
Super Frank scored two goals but still ended up on the losing side against the Citizens as Chelsea lost both their home and away leg matches that season to Manchester City. Lampard scored in the 42nd minute and the injury time of the final half. This match will also be remembered for Wayne Bridge not shaking hands with Chelsea captain John Terry after the latter was caught cheating with Bridge’s wife. Terry, hence, had to resign as England’s captain.
6. Chelsea 2-1 Manchester city (December 12, 2011)
His last of the six goals against Manchester could possibly be the most important. Manchester city had not lost a single match before this in the season and were looking to continue that record but Super Frank had other ideas. After Mario Balotelli scored in the 2nd minute, things looked ominous for the blues at their home stadium. But Raul Meireles scored the equalizer in the 34th minute to bring the Blues back in contention.
Later, in the second half Gael Clichy was sent off for a second yellow card just before the hour mark. Chelsea earned a penalty in the 83rd minute after Sturridge’s shot hit Jolean Lescott’s hand in the penalty box. Frank Lampard, who had been substituted in the 73rd minute scored the winner to hand Manchester City their first loss in the season and give his own manager Andre Vilas Boas some respite. AVB’s respite though did not last long as he was replaced in the March of 2013 after a 3-1 loss to Napoli, only for his assistant Roberto di Matteo to take over, who went on to lead Chelsea to their first Champions League trophy in May 2013.
