Struggling Pakistan will look to get back to winning ways when they meet Zimbabwe in ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 at the Gabba, Brisbane on March 1. The equation is simple for Pakistan; they need win to keep themselves in hunt for quarter-finals berth. However, given Zimbabwe’s recent outings things do not look that easy for Pakistan. Pakistan openers vs Panyangara-Chatara
Zimbabwe new ball bowlers Tinashe Panyangara and Tendai Chatara have been successful in producing results early on their spells. Both, Panyangara and Chatara are skilled and if conditions favour them the duo will make life difficult for Pakistan opening batsmen. It still remains to be seen who will partner Ahmed Shehzad as an opener for this game, but whoever will open with him it is not going to be an easy task. Shahid Afridi vs Sean Williams
It is Shahid Afridi’s birthday and he will want to make it special by dishing out a solid performance. Sean Williams in Zimbabwe line-up has been in prolific touch and has been scoring runs in middle-order. His match winning performance against UAE and then fighting half-century against West Indies would have boosted his confidence. Afridi will love to see his back early. Mohammad Irfan vs Zimbabwe top-order
Facing tall left-arm fast bowler Mohammad Irfan will be a tough ask for Zimbabwe top-order, consisting of Sikandar Raza, Regis Chakabva and Hamilton Masakadza. Irfan can be lethal on the Gabba wicket and he is hungry to put forward a match-winning performance. Tomorrow might be his day.
