Racial Abuse: Sikh boy called 'terrorist' by students in US; video goes viral

A few weeks ago, United States President Barack Obama was preaching religious intolerance to the Indian government, while in his own country racism is at its peak. In a shocking incident, a Sikh boy attending school the Chattahoochee Elementary School in Duluth, Georgia, USA was abused and called a ‘terrorist’ by a group of school children. Here is a video that went viral showing the radical mind of young children in the United States.

In the video titled Racial Abuse on Sikh Boy in New York USA || Calling Him Terrorist, a Sikh boy is seen sitting in a school bus. He records a video in the bus to show the racist behaviour of other students. He whispers to his camera, “The kids are being racist to me”. Then a small girl sitting behind him calls him ‘terrorist’ and points a finger at him. Other students are seen hurling abuses at him, too. The Sikh child is identified as Harsukh Singh. He uploaded the video with the description, “Kids being racist to me and calling me an Afghan terrorist. Please don’t act like this towards people like me. If you don’t know, I’m not Muslim, I’m Sikh.”

The incident is condemnable and shameful. While the conduct of the school kids is disgusting, the Sikh boy also seems to have same radical thoughts about Muslims. Watch the video to see it for yourself.
