Hawaizaada star Ayushmann Khurrana talks exclusively to India.com: Watch video

For someone who has tasted overwhelming success with his debut film Vicky Donor, VJ-turned-actor-turned-singer Ayushmann Khurrana has an air of nonchalance about himself. He looks relaxed, absolutely comfortable in his own skin and totally secure in the position life has placed himself into. You don’t catch him complaining or whining about his last two movies, which can’t exactly be called successes.

While Khurrana’s second outing Nautanki Saala may not have succeeded in entertaining us in the manner in which his debut movie did, his third cinematic endeavour Bewakoofiyan tanked at the box office without leaving much to talk about.

The 30-year-old (though he can easily pass off as a twenty-something) is excited about his next Hawaizaada, hitting the screens on January 30. Vibhu Puri’s directorial venture will see the charming star play the long-forgotten hero Shivkar Talpade, who crafted the world’s first airplane nearly eight years before the legendary Wright Brothers proved that man could actually fly.

In a free-wheeling chat with India.com, Ayushmann talked about the fickle nature of the movie industry and the elusive success one hopes to taste. He also chatted about working with veterans like Annu Kapoor, Rishi Kapoor and now Mithun Chakraborty (in Hawaizaada). It was equally interesting to see the man opening up on his journey so far, the art of wearing multiple hats in various capacities and the feeling that comes from being the youngest dad in B-town. Take a look at the video!
