Earthquake in Nepal: CCTV video footage of Lamjung quake will give you goosebumps

Here is CCTV footage of a house in Kathmandu that captured trees that swayed and the uprooted ground when the earthquake hit Nepal.

An earthquake measuring 7.9 on Richter scale shook Nepal and other parts of India and left at least 1500 people dead. The powerful earthquake, claimed nearly 44 lives in India and destroyed or damaged several houses and buildings. The states bordering Nepal, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh and West Bengal were the worst affected by the earthquake. At least 12 people, including a 83-year-old woman, were killed in southwest China’s Tibet Autonomous Region after the earthquake jolted neighbouring Nepal. Here is CCTV footage of a house in Kathmandu that captured trees that swayed and the uprooted ground when the earthquake hit Nepal. The video posted by Kishore Rana on social networking site, Facebook. The 52-second long video is enough to show the intensity of the deadly natural disaster.

A number of buildings had caved in or developed huge cracks. Many of the city roads have suffered wide craters because of the impact, affecting movement of vehicles and rescue operations.
