Chennai Metro: M K Stalin slaps passenger, video goes viral (Watch it here)

When a politician slaps someone, even if it is for helping others, it’s bound to create sensation. And that’s what happened in the case of DMK leader M K Stalin. On his first ride in the newly launched Chennai Metro, Stalin happened to slap a male passenger who was coming the way of others. Predictably, the video has gone viral.

While the politician might have slapped him it to make the metro ride more comfortable for fellow passengers and especially the ladies, the act seems to be more about showing off his power than helping others. His impulsive reaction has not gone down well with the general public. Moreover, Tamil Nadu chief minsiter J Jayalalithaa has also condemned the act. “He slapped a passenger in the train and the same has been published by the media. This is condemnable and is unbecoming of a person who is a member of legislative assembly,” she said in a statement.
