Will the real Kaka please stand up? Brazilian superstar gets first red card in club career (Watch Video)

Once a global superstar but is now plying his trade with Major League Soccer (MLS) in the U.S.A, Ricardo Kaka was phenomenon during his first tenure with A. C. Milan. The player’s vision, technique and his eye for goal was exemplary. He was a part of the Milan club’s Champions League win, which also won him the Ballon d’Or before the Cristiano Ronaldo-Lionel Messi duopoly took off.

While players wait for their twilight years as a footballer to switch to the MLS, Kaka took the step at a relatively early age — 32 — to head to the States. He is one of the many yesteryear superstars plying his trade there. Kaka has got only one red card in his career, which was in the 2010 World Cup after he received a second yellow only because of some shambolic playacting from the Ivory Coast players. This decision borders on the controversial too as Kaka’s ‘stamp’ was merely a follow through after a shoulder barge on the opposition attacker.
