The news of Aussie batsman, Phillip Hughes being in induced coma after being hit by deadly bouncer is evoking massive prayers from each and everyone related to the sport. Former Indian cricketer and batting legend Sachin Tendulkar posted a tweet wishing the injured batsman who is fighting battle for life a quick recovery. He wrote, “Phil is fighting hard and we are with him in this fight. My prayers with him, his family and friends #prayforhughesy”.

Phil Hughes, who is currently in induced coma after undergoing an immediate surgery at the St. Vincent’s hospital in Sydney is still said to be in ‘critical condition’ as per the reports. Before this terrible incident, Phil was looking forward to book his berth for the upcoming home-series against India in place of injured national side skipper and South Australia team-mate Michael Clarke. The touring Indian cricket team also offered support to fighting batsman, his family and friends at this terrible time. The visiting Indian skipper, Virat Kohli said, “Thoughts and prayers with Phil Hughes all the way. Fight it out mate. You are a top man. All the strength goes out to you and your family.”

25-year-old, Hughes, was playing for South Australia against New South Wales during a Sheffield Shield at the Sydney Cricket Ground when the tragic moment struck leaving the cricketing world in shock. He was trying to play a speeding delivery from Blues pacer Sean Abott but a mistiming left him being struch by the killer bouncer. The players, officials and spectators were left with the coming spinning visuals as Hughes collapsed on the ground. His mother and sister were in crowd at the time of this chilling incident.
