Royal Challengers Bangalore will face off with Sunrisers Hyderabad in their home ground. Having practices and rested for four days after their last match against Kings XI Punjab, RCB have had the time to prepare and get used to the change in the environment. SRH have improved their performance and won two matches recently, while RCB’s performance has been deteriorating and they have won three consecutive matches.
Sunrisers Hyderabad are playing their second season in IPL, after debuting in 2013. They have played two matches against Bangalore previously and have won one and lost one. This match would therefore be a chance to get an upper hand for any one of the team.
RCB and SRH ended in a super over in their first face off in 2013 and SRH won the super over. This match is therefore bound to be interesting and thrilling. Their history has been one of the most entertaining match of the season and we sure hope it continues onto this season. Here is a table of their previous encounters.
|IPL 2013||7th April 2013||SRH won in Super over|
|IPL 2013||9th April 2013||RCB won by 7 wickets|
However the pressure is high on Bangalore to perform for the millions of fans, as they play in their home ground and they have had more time to adjust and prepare for this match.
