Wellington, Feb 16: India strengthened its grip on the second Test against New Zealand on Day Two of the second Test in Wellington on February 15, 2014. With a lead of 222 runs at stumps, the visitors ended the day with New Zealand at 24 for one with Hamish Rutherford and Kane Williamson leading the Kiwi fight back.
The only New Zealand wicket to fall in their second innings on Day Two was that of Peter Fulton. It sure looks like a daunting task for New Zealand as three more days are still left in the match.
