U2 tour manager Dennis Sheehan found dead: Band pays tribute at concert

U2’s tour manager Dennis Sheehan was found dead at the Marquis Hotel in West Hollywood, Los Angeles. U2’s popular frontman Bono said in a statement on the band’s website, “We’ve lost a family member, we’re still taking it in. He wasn’t just a legend in the music business, he was a legend in our band. He is irreplaceable.” (ALSO READ: U2 music band releases new album ‘Songs of Innocence’ free for Apple’s iTunes)

Reports say the Los Angeles County Fire Department got a cardiac arrest call at the address 1200 Alta Loma Road around 5:40 a.m. May 27. Sheehan was later declared dead. The sad incident happened ahead of U2 concert at The Forum in Los Angeles.
