Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan’s movie FAN has reportedly been rescheduled for release on Eid 2015. The movie, produced by Yash Raj Films and directed by Maneesh Sharma, was supposed to release on August 14, 2015, as reported earlier by India.com. But it seems YRF and SRK were in two minds over the release date of the much awaited hatke film of the ageing superstar.

FAN will now hit theatres on Eid 2015, which is likely to fall on July 17. The holiday weekend is the favourite of Shah Rukh Khan’s rival Salman Khan who has delivered blockbusters on Eid, the last one being Kick that went on to make Rs 300 crore at the box office.

But SRK’s movie Chennai Express had also released on Eid in 2013 and proved to be a hit. Salman had no film release that year.

Shah Rukh created a buzz earlier this year for the new look he is going to sport in FAN, styled by Dracula make up man Greg Cannom (as seen in picture). Hopefully the film will turn out to be good. But first up, is Shah Rukh Khan’s fans are waiting for his 2014 release Happy New Year that will hit screens on Diwali!
