UPDATE: Kick box office report: Salman Khan’s film crosses Rs 200 crore at the BO!
Kick might not have broken opening records of the other two Khans’ movies at Rs 26 crore plus in India – Aamir Khan’s Dhoom 3 made Rs 36 crore and Shah Rukh Khan’s Chennai Express Rs 33 crore – but it’s on its way to be one of the biggest Salman Khan openers and also the top openers of 2014.
Taran Adarsh, film critic and trade analyst, tweeted the three-day box office collections of Kick as under: “#Kick has a SPECTACULAR weekend. Fri 26.50 cr, Sat 27.15 cr, Sun 30.18 cr. Total: ₹ 83.83 cr nett. India biz. REMARKABLE!”
If Salman Khan’s Kick had opened on Eid itself, it might’ve grossed much more worldwide on its opening day.
