Kick box office report: Salman Khan's film makes Rs 50 crore in two days

Salman Khan‘s movie Kick that released on Friday, July 25 collected Rs 50 crore by its second day at the box office in India, according to trade analyst Taran Adarsh. Online reports suggested the film had made Rs 35 crore on its opening day in India. But Adarsh had tweeted official figures at Rs 26 crore. He shared the two-day box office collections of Kick that stood at Rs 50 crore. “#Kick crosses ₹ 50 cr nett mark in 2 days. Continues its glorious run on Day 2. Collects ₹ 27.15 cr nett. India biz. AWESOME!” he said.

He also added that Kick will be the biggest Salman Khan opener in USA and Canada with about Rs 5 crore in two day collections. In Dubai, the film had made Rs 1.63 crore on its opening day.

Adarsh is very optimistic about Kick’s box office on Sunday, it being the holiday before Eid.  “#Kick biz is expected to grow further on Sunday… Abhi Eid aa rahi hain aur woh apni Eidi lene zaroor aayega…”, he said.

Fans of Salman Khan are saying that Kick would’ve broken the box office record of Dhoom 3 had it released on Eid itself.
