‘Heropanti…sabko aati nahin, meri jaati nahin‘ and then the deafening claps and whistles follow! Well, looks like Tiger Shroff, who is making his acting debut with Sajid Nadiawala’s Heropanti, has somehow managed to grab viewers’ attention with the release of this first trailer.
So, finally it’s out that the much guarded debut movie of actor Jackie Shroff’s son Tiger Shroff a.k.a. Jai Hemant Shroff falls in the genre of a typical Bollywood masala film, with too much of action and lots of love and emotional drama. If you have a taste for these masala busters, Heropanti awaits at your nearest movie theatre on 23 May.
Jackie Shroff made his debut with Subhash Ghai’s Hero, and now his son has gone a step ahead with Sabbir Khan’s Heropanti. Nothing wrong in it, but you hate it when none of Tiger’s face muscles move while mouthing a dialogue, making you feel as if you’re watching some slow-mo stuff.
Tiger appears to be villainous or the leading lady Kriti Sanon’s brother rather than one who is romantically involved with her! Well, may be because Kriti looks beautiful but there is something wrong with her expressions, too.
Deep down somewhere you feel that the typical ‘Bollywood masala flicks’ are so often repeated with a boy-girl love story and the whole wide world against them that it is hard to differentiate one from another. Even the sets look repetitive – something like the Ishq Wala Love song setting from Karan Johar’s Student Of The Year.
Whether Heropanti lives up to expectations or not, will be seen when the movie releases on 23 May. But as for now watch the trailer!
