Three killed in China explosion

Beijing, Aug 17: At least three people were killed and four injured Sunday in an explosion at a residential apartment in China. The incident took place in Changzhi city of north China’s Shanxi province, reported Xinhua.

Two people died at the scene, while the third died later in a hospital. The cause of the explosion is being investigated.

Earlier this week, at least three people, including a politician belonging to former cricketer Imran Khan‘s party, were killed Monday in a roadside bomb explosion in Pakistan’s Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.

Former provincial election candidate for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) member Faqir Jamshed was among those killed in the explosion, Dawn online reported.

The explosion occurred when Jamshed’s vehicle drove over the explosive in Dera Ismail Khan’s Kulachi area.
