Rahul Gandhi roars in Lok Sabha: Congress vice president takes on Narendra Modi-government on Land Bill

Rahul Gandhi took on Narendra Modi-government in Lok Sabha and said that the government wants to snatch the land from farmers. Speaking in Land Acquisition Bill, Congress vice president said, “It took around two years to introduce land bill and NDA Govt murdered that bill in just few days. “We said there must be social impact assessment, but they don’t feel any need of social impact assessment,” Rahul Gandhi added. Rahul Gandhi refused to accept the claim of government that the projects are stalled due to land. “Government is in a haste to pass this bill,so we asked your Finance Ministry, how many projects are pending due to land? Your Finance Ministry said that only 8 out of 100 projects are pending due to land,” Rahul Gandhi said. Accusing the government for being anti-farmer the Congress leader said, “Hindustan ki sarkar ke paas zameen hai, Rajyon ke paas zameen hai, lekin aapko kisaano ki zameen chahiye.” “Ye sarkar kisaan virodhi hai, apne udyogpati doston ko zameen dena chahti hai. Ye suit-boot ka kaam hum nhi chalne denge,” Rahul Gandhi said.
Rahul Gandhi also dared the government to pass the bill in the parliament. “If we can’t stop you here (parliament) we will stop you on the streets,” Rahul Gandhi said in the lower house.
