#AAPLovesPappu and #NikammiModiSarkar: Twitter blasts politicians across all political lines!

Ahead of the Modi government’s anniversary, netizens has termed the government ‘nikammi’ (useless) on microblogging site Twitter, and slammed for not delivering on its promises. It seems that the disgruntled people are reminding the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leaders of the promises they made during the extravagant election campaign before 2014 Lok Sabha Elections. The BJP had promised to bring achche din but so far no work has been done, if one sees at the way government is working.

Besides this, Twitterati also furiously reacted on Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) founder-leader Arvind Kejriwal’s silence on Congress party leaders allegedly involved in scams. The BJP sympathizers have been using the hash tag #AAPLovesPappu and have claimed that there is a nexus between AAP and Congress. In most tweets the BJP supporters have asked that were the AAP leaders hesitant to talk against Congress party leaders. Though the AAP claims to have fight against corruption, but it has shown zilch interest to take a strong stand against corrupt Congress leaders.

The Twitter has become a daily dose of political wars being battled out by their supporters. Both AAP and BJP leaders fight from stages spread across India, but the supporters have found a new place to quarrel – Twitter.
